Carl Thompson, Founder and Vice President:

  • In July of 1984, Carl began working as a laborer for a locally owned company based in Columbus, Ohio. Within one year, he became a foreman leading a crew of his own men.
  • In 1990, Carl moved to Cincinnati with his wife and began working for Ray St. Clair Roofing as an estimator. In 1996, Carl was promoted to Scheduling Manager of production and remained in that position for three years. Ray St. Clair Roofing achieved their highest production during his three years up to this point.
  • In July of 1999 Carl went to work for the Durable Slate Company and started as a Production Manager. He was asked to move into a sales position due to his unique package of skills: organization, past sales record, people skills, and experience with specialty roofing such as slate, tile, and architectural metal. Carl moved up within The Durable Slate Company and became Vice President of Operations, Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • In 2007 Carl left the company and co-founded Precision Slate & Tile Roofing Company.
