This project was a difficult project to do, even for an experienced roofer.
The house has a Brittany Tile roof and we had to repair a copper flashing in a radial (curved) valley.
You'll notice the characteristic rounded nature of the valley, which is what makes it a 'radial' valley, normally valleys are pointed.
The chimney flashing was hand-soldered copper.
We also had to replace the galvanized gutters that were well past their service life. We repaired a custom conductor head on one of the downspouts which you can clearly see in the pictures below.
This was a challenging project and it turned out beautifully.
